Shifting your Perspective

Let’s talk about perspective. According to the definition is, ” a particular way of viewing things that depends on one’s experience and personality”.

This week I changed my perspective on things and it totally changed my mood. You see on Thursday I woke up and went to yoga but wasn’t feeling myself. Then I went to American Eagle to do the try on session and the pant size I usually wear was too small on me. My mood went from lousy to down right mad. I wasn’t mad at anyone except myself for letting it get to this point. I got home and immediately got on the scale to see I gained 5 pounds since my 5 day detox.

I have been doing the peloton and studio Tone It Up workouts pretty consistently, however; I am not seeing the results I want. I follow this girl on Instagram name Samantha who is a Beachbody coach (no I am not becoming a coach) and she is doing a new 20 minute program that seems to be giving people crazy results. I immediatly direct messaged her and signed up for the new program called, transform: 20. Luckily she has a new group starting February 11th. Yay! I’m excited.

I am still going to follow the Tone It Up nutrition plan. So I am still a TIU girl!

Anyway, this morning I woke up and I was in a great mood. I had my healthy shake and then went to barre. I decided to wear the brightest sweater I own because I wasn’t going to be down on myself anymore. You see I shifted my perspective and had such a better day.

Sometimes that’s all we have to do is shift perspective and we have such a better day. How have you shifted perspective?
